4th of July Fun

The Highlight of our summer has been hanging out with our neighbors. Noah has had so much fun playing with the kiddos and Rod and I have really enjoyed getting to know the "grown up neighbors". We've sat outside nearly every night this summer and watched the kids ride bikes, play ball, and whatever else they could think of. We feel very blessed to have made such great friends. Poor Noah is stuck in the middle of all of kids ages. Most of the kids are a little older than him, but he hangs with them pretty well. He can ride his bike (with no training wheels) and play ball as well as the 5 & 6 year olds can. He blows us away with his many talents! On July 3rd, our neighborhood had a bicycle parade for the kids. It was super cute! The Kids got to decorate their bikes, scooters or wagons and parade around the neighborhood. I wish I could take credit for Noah and Reid's awesome decor...but thanks to Dad the wagon and Bike were decked out. He's the creative brain around our house. We also did lots of fireworks in the street (the entire week BEFORE the 4th). The neighbors who weren't involved probably hate us! The best part of it was that the dads had way more fun than the kids doing the fireworks. There's no telling how much money they spent at the fireworks stand...I'm guessing between all of them they easily spent $1,000. The kids were entertained the first couple of nights we did them, but they lost interest by night 7! However, the dads never lost interest. They were like a bunch of teenagers setting off fireworks. It was hilarious. We made some great memories. Can't wait til next 4th of July.
