Wow...did we have a hail storm! I have never seen anything like it in my life and hope that I never see it again. We were heading home from a weekend trip and the skies started looking very dark. When we were just a few blocks from home. Malley started texting me to tell us that there was bad weather heading our way. She was right..we had about 10 minutes to prepare for it. Fortunately the threat of a Tornado dimished pretty quickly, but the hail came down hard and for a long long time! Fortunately our vehicles were saved from hail dents, but our roof not so much! We had to have our roof replaced AGAIN. The craziest thing about the hail storm was the aftermath..it looked like a winter ice storm had just hit. After it was over it was down right creepy....the 2" of ice on the ground had fog coming off of it and all you could hear were sirens everywhere. It was freezing outside too! It was wild. Thankful everyone was safe and sound..the roof has been replaced. Bring on the 2011 storm season!
